Our Story

Welcome to the Heaton Adams Financial Services (HAFS for short) website and thank you for letting us tell you our story!

It really is quite simple.

HAFS was originally formed to address a need for competent, independent and knowledgable investment advice for the clients of Heaton Adams & Co, CPA's.

HAFS was created in 2001 by Bob Heaton, a principal in the CPA firm.

Bob has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1975 and a Certified Financial Planner since 1987.  

He founded Heaton Adams Financial Services to broaden the scope of services to his clients by combining the financial planning services of Heaton Adams & Co with newly offered Investment Advice and Asset Management services.

Bob has always believed that taxes and planning are critical to your financial life, but there was an aspect missing:  putting the plan into action. Now through HAFS, your plan can be implemented, and done so in a cost effective, commission-free manner.

It's worked out so well for the clients of the CPA firm we've opened up our services worldwide.

So whether you are in our own backyard and are looking for a way to bring order and knowledge to your financial and investment life or whether you've sought us out over the extremes of cyberspace, thanks for checking us out.
